Hyundai Motor has launched 'The All New Nexo,' an updated version of its best-selling hydrogen electric vehicle. The new Nexo boasts improved performance, with a range of 720km on a single charge and a 'root planner' feature for enhanced user convenience. It is equipped with a 150kW electric motor, a hydrogen fuel cell stack with an output of 94kW, and high-voltage batteries with an output of 80kW, resulting in a zero-back time of 7.8 seconds, significantly faster than its predecessor. The hydrogen storage capacity has been increased to 6.69 kg, allowing for a longer driving range and quick 5-minute charging time. The vehicle also addresses the issue of limited hydrogen charging stations by offering a route planner that includes these stations along the way, providing real-time updates on their availability and queue status. Additional customer benefits include emergency towing, free inspections, and extended warranties to build trust in hydrogen cars. The Nexo is priced starting at approximately 38.94 million won after government subsidies, offering not just environmental friendliness but also an enjoyable driving experience with different modes and features like V2L for campers.
