The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in India organized a National Workshop in New Delhi focusing on the role of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Green Hydrogen Supply Chain. The workshop was aimed at exploring opportunities for MSMEs and discussing their key role in developing India's green hydrogen ecosystem. The Hon'ble Union Minister highlighted the importance of MSMEs in the energy transition and launched the Green Hydrogen Certification Scheme to ensure credibility in production. The workshop included sessions on technology collaboration, business opportunities, decentralized production, and investments in the green hydrogen sector, showcasing the government's commitment to empower MSMEs. The National Green Hydrogen Mission aims to make India a global hub for green hydrogen production by 2030, leading to job creation, investments, and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
