The engineering solutions provider recently acquired a majority stake in Maldives Design Limited, a company specializing in nitrogen and oxygen plants, hydrogen purification plants, and ammonia crackers. This strategic move will enable DEE Development Engineers to make significant contributions to the hydrogen sector, particularly in hydrogen purification and ammonia cracking. The company's Chairman and Managing Director highlighted the immense potential in the hydrogen market, driven by the government's focus on green hydrogen. With plans for technology tie-ups to manufacture complete hydrogen plants, DEE Development Engineers aims to position itself as a key player in the evolving hydrogen industry. The National Green Hydrogen Mission, which targets the annual production of five million metric tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030, offers promising business prospects for the company. By aligning with the mission's goals of decarbonizing the economy and promoting renewable energy, DEE Development Engineers anticipates a substantial growth in turnover, from Rs 827.36 crore in the previous fiscal year to a projected Rs 1,300 crore in the upcoming year.
