HYDGEN, an emerging leader in green hydrogen electrolyzer systems, recently announced a strategic partnership with SunKonnect, a clean energy integrator based in Gurugram. This partnership aims to scale the adoption of on-site green hydrogen production solutions in various industrial sectors across India. Dr. Manippady Krishna Kumar, COO at HYDGEN, highlighted the mission to make green hydrogen viable, accessible, and scalable for industries relying on it as a feedstock or fuel source. The collaboration between HYDGEN and SunKonnect focuses on empowering industries to produce green hydrogen on-site, reducing dependence on costly and carbon-intensive supply chains. SunKonnect will represent HYDGEN's electrolyzer systems in key sectors such as semiconductors, fertilizers, and heavy industry, among others. The partnership plans to offer tailored solutions for different industry needs and accelerate the deployment of clean energy systems. The goals of the partnership include decentralized hydrogen generation, accelerated go-to-market execution, customization of electrolyzer configurations, and local manufacturing and support to align with India's sustainability goals. With the signing of the MoU at HYDGEN's Innovation Day, both companies aim to contribute to building a sustainable and self-reliant hydrogen economy in India by transitioning industries away from grey hydrogen and fossil fuels.
