Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) in India is pursuing a bold vision to achieve $1 trillion in revenue by 2047. As part of its strategy, IOCL is diversifying beyond oil into emerging sectors such as data centers, nuclear power generation, critical mineral mining, shipping, and lithium-ion battery manufacturing. The company aims to strengthen its core operations by increasing refining capacity to 100 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) and tripling petrochemical output by FY28. Additionally, IOCL plans to double its natural gas distribution and trading volume to align with India's clean energy goals.
