Anwar underscored the concrete outcomes from frequent Asean engagements, revealing Terengganu's pivotal role in a new green hydrogen initiative aligned with the Asean Power Grid project. This initiative in Tasik Kenyir is poised to connect cross-border electricity supply in the region, positioning Malaysia as a significant energy producer. Anwar stressed the necessity of supporting sustainable energy initiatives like the Asean Power Grid, especially with the rise of high-energy-demand AI tech centers. Furthermore, he lauded Malaysia's growing global stature, evidenced by the presence of major powers in recent Asean meetings, signifying trust in Malaysia's stability and economic prospects.
