Producers are required to undergo a stringent certification process to confirm that their hydrogen is made using renewable energy, with emission intensity meeting set standards. The verification will be conducted by a BEE Accredited Carbon Verification (ACV) Agency. Comprehensive standards and guidelines are outlined to govern monitoring, reporting, verification, and emission calculation methodology for certification purposes. Transparency in emissions during production will enhance investor confidence, and producers can also claim carbon credits through this certification.
