During separate meetings with Vietnam's Party chief To Lam in Russia, Zarubezhneft expressed interest in advancing natural gas initiatives and developing renewable energy projects, including offshore wind power and green hydrogen facilities. The company aims to establish a modern liquefied gas supply chain for Vietnam. AFK Sistema, a major Russian investment firm, identified Vietnam as a key market for long-term investment cooperation, particularly in sectors like information technology, semiconductors, and healthcare. Positive Technologies, a Russian cybersecurity company, hopes to collaborate with Vietnamese authorities on cybersecurity projects. The discussions also included enhancing economic, scientific, and technical cooperation between Vietnam and Russia. The parties explored opportunities for collaboration in various areas, such as maritime security, shipbuilding, and responses to non-traditional security challenges. Both sides expressed willingness to deepen bilateral cooperation and create favorable conditions for investment and partnership initiatives.
