Additionally, the site will facilitate the production of electric charging systems for trams, buses, and potentially electric highways, in compliance with upcoming European regulations prohibiting thermal engines. Notably, the site will house a new megafactory dedicated to manufacturing high-power fuel cell systems in partnership with Helion Hydrogen Power, a subsidiary of Alstom Group renowned in the hydrogen industry. This strategic move not only emphasizes Alstom's dedication to sustainable practices but also aligns with global efforts towards cleaner energy solutions.
