Envision, a Chinese green technology company, has successfully commissioned the world's largest green hydrogen and ammonia production facility in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. This groundbreaking project is powered by an AI-integrated off-grid renewable system, marking a significant advancement in the renewable energy sector. The facility, located at the Chifeng Net Zero Industrial Park, can deliver 320,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually. By combining wind turbines, solar energy, battery storage, and predictive meteorological modeling, Envision ensures continuous and cost-effective green fuel production without relying on the grid. Envision's CEO, Lei Zhang, emphasized the importance of green alternatives for achieving net-zero emissions and highlighted the facility as a blueprint for a clean energy future. The plant also received the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification for green ammonia, showcasing Envision's commitment to sustainability. With plans to ramp up production to 1.5 million tonnes of green ammonia per year by 2028, the Chifeng Net Zero Industrial Park aims to lead the way as the world's first net-zero industrial park and a model for clean industrial hubs globally. The park will integrate various green industries, including electric vehicle and battery manufacturing, powered by cutting-edge clean energy technologies such as wind, solar, and hydrogen power. Envision's AIoT technology will manage the industrial park, connecting it to an electric truck transportation system. This initiative underscores Envision's leadership in sustainable energy practices and sets a new benchmark for green hydrogen and ammonia production.
