Oswal Energies Ltd in New Delhi, India, has kickstarted a green hydrogen project by receiving a 1 MW hydrogen electrolyser stack from Greenzo Energy India Ltd. The project, valued at ₹320 crore, aims to produce clean hydrogen through a 20 MW Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) initiative. Scheduled for commissioning within the next 12 to 18 months, the plants will vary in capacity from 0.5 MW to 5 MW, with a focus on supplying green hydrogen to the chemical and fertiliser sectors. Ratan Bokadia, the Managing Director of Oswal Energies, expressed that this delivery is not just a shipment but a foundation for national energy transformation, aligning sustainability with self-reliance. Greenzo Energy, known for its electrolyser systems, is supporting India's energy goals by offering locally made hydrogen solutions. Sandeep Agarwal, the Managing Director of Greenzo Energy, highlighted the company's pride in contributing to India's green manufacturing ecosystem. Oswal Energies, established in 2013 and based in Ahmedabad, specializes in providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services in various energy sectors, including green hydrogen, oil and gas, carbon capture, and compressed biogas. With over 250 projects completed in the hydrocarbon industry and clean energy initiatives, Oswal Energies is actively involved in advancing sustainable energy practices.
