Partnered with Symbio France, the technology offers zero emissions, low maintenance, and fast refueling times, addressing the maritime industry's need for clean energy solutions. The system can be customized for vessels and complements electric propulsion, enhancing range and vessel performance while easing the load on batteries. Symbio's two-year performance guarantee ensures reliability, backed by a gigafactory in Lyon, France, capable of high-throughput fuel cell stack production. Proteus aims to meet rising demand without compromising quality, leveraging economies of scale from the automotive industry. The solution, set for delivery in January 2026, includes high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks for onboard fuel storage.
