Dover India, a subsidiary of Dover Corporation, and RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru have announced a strategic partnership to establish a state-of-the-art laboratory dedicated to materials and component reliability testing within RVCE’s Centre for Hydrogen and Green Technology. The laboratory, situated on the RVCE campus, is poised to become a national center for cutting-edge research in hydrogen technologies, focusing on aspects like generation, storage, transportation, safety, and applications. The collaboration involves the participation of over 20 technologists from Dover India Innovation Center and RVCE, aiming to push the boundaries of research in hydrogen and green technology. The infrastructure of the lab is developed to meet global standards and is a pioneering initiative in India, with plans to expand research into sustainable materials, IoT, and Industry 4.0. This partnership signifies a crucial academia-industry collaboration that is anticipated to drive the next stage of clean energy innovation. Vivek Srivastava, the R&D Head at Dover India, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in fostering innovation in clean energy. Additionally, the lab will serve as a training platform for RVCE students to enhance their knowledge in clean energy, utilizing the advanced R&D capabilities of Dover India established in Jigani, Bengaluru.
