China has achieved a significant milestone in its transportation sector with the successful development of a 100-kilogram class vehicle-mounted liquid hydrogen system. The system, created by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, is a crucial component for liquid hydrogen heavy trucks. It is entirely domestically produced and promises to revolutionize the industry by providing these trucks with an impressive range of over 1,000 kilometers on a single charge. This new system has managed to improve efficiency by offering a 20 percent increase in effective volume within the same overall dimensions while also reducing costs by more than 30 percent. An expert from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation highlighted that the system can carry up to 100 kilograms of hydrogen, meeting global standards in system quality, hydrogen storage density, and refueling time. This development signifies China's commitment to advancing clean energy solutions and enhancing its infrastructure for sustainable transportation.
