The City of Riverside, in collaboration with multiple partners, including Mobility Development Operations, UC Riverside’s CE-CERT, CALSTART, and CARB, launched the Riverside Clean Air Carshare (RCAC) program. This initiative introduces a hydrogen-powered carsharing fleet to provide clean, affordable, and accessible transportation in underserved areas of Riverside. The RCAC program aims to address transportation gaps, improve air quality, and enhance equitable access to zero-emission vehicles, contributing to California's climate goals. The launch event held at CE-CERT featured city leaders, program partners, and clean transportation advocates, allowing attendees to engage with hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and experience ride-and-drives.
