The Hydrogen Economy Forum (H2EF) 2025, organized by the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia, and Borneo Business Connect with the support of Business Events Sarawak, is scheduled to kick-off at Hilton Kuching. With a focus on critical themes such as hydrogen production technologies, market applications, financing, policy advocacy, and safety frameworks, the event aims to provide a strategic platform for discussions among government agencies, investors, financial institutions, academics, and industry leaders. The two-day forum includes plenary sessions, in-depth forums, and keynote addresses addressing Sarawak's hydrogen roadmap, logistics, regulatory frameworks, certification standards, and technological innovations. Notable speakers like Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and Dr Alloysius Joko Purwanto will share insights on Sarawak's hydrogen economy and the Asean context. International dialogue on policy and regulation will also feature voices from various countries. The event is expected to solidify Sarawak's leadership in the regional hydrogen economy and contribute to shaping the global clean energy landscape.
