The city is currently overseeing 24 projects amounting to €133.812 million, with a significant focus on renewable energy, hydrogen, networks, and sustainable mobility. Progress has also been seen in digitalization initiatives, particularly in areas like cybersecurity, urban reforestation, and electricity conversion. Additionally, CTM is working towards transitioning to an 80% electric fleet by 2026, with a target of achieving full electrification by 2030. Moreover, infrastructure projects such as greenways, riverbank restoration, and the development of a waterway for electric boats are in the pipeline. Mayor Zedda acknowledged the ANCI for recognizing municipalities as exemplary models in planning, management, and spending.
