IndianOil has made a significant move towards accelerating India's clean energy transition with the finalization of the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) for a 10,000 tonnes per annum Green Hydrogen Generation Unit at its Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex. This project, slated to become India's largest green hydrogen initiative to date, aims to replace fossil-derived hydrogen with green hydrogen in the refinery's operations. The commissioning of this unit by December 2027 is expected to lead to substantial reductions in carbon emissions, marking a crucial step in IndianOil's commitment to sustainability and aligning with India's renewable energy goals.
