NEXTCHEM, through its subsidiary KT Tech, has been awarded a contract to upgrade Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company's (BSR) hydrogen production unit in Vietnam as part of the Dung Quat Refinery project. KT Tech will provide licensing and a Process Design Package (PDP) for a new hydrogen production unit with a capacity of 22,676 cubic meters per hour, leveraging the NX Reform™ hydrogen technology. This technology aims to offer cost-effective hydrogen production and the potential to reduce the carbon footprint by incorporating CO2 capture technology, while also ensuring flexibility in feedstock and capacity. During the construction phase, KT Tech will supply the proprietary equipment for the steam methane reforming process.
