Oswal Energies, based in Ahmedabad, has launched a significant green hydrogen initiative with an investment of Rs 320 crore. The company received its first 1 MW electrolyser stack from Greenzo Energy India, marking the beginning of a 20 MW Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) green hydrogen deployment project focused on the chemical and fertilizer industries. Over the next 12 to 18 months, Oswal Energies plans to roll out a series of plants ranging from 0.5 MW to 5 MW capacity, utilizing Greenzo's advanced indigenous technology. Ratan Bokadia, the managing director of Oswal Energies, emphasized the company's vision of combining sustainability with self-reliance through this partnership, aiming to empower industries with low-carbon emission solutions.
