SANY Group Delivers First Green Hydrogen Project to Australia
Key Ideas
- SANY Group delivers skid-mounted hydrogen production and refueling station to Australia, their first green hydrogen project in the country.
- The hydrogen station can produce hydrogen on-site via electrolysis, providing fuel for both commercial trucks and passenger cars at different pressure levels.
- The project showcases SANY's expertise in hydrogen technologies, meeting Australian standards with certifications for safety and pressure vessels from Bureau Veritas and TÜV SÜD.
- This successful deployment marks SANY's growing presence in global green energy infrastructure and signifies its capability to export hydrogen technologies beyond China.
China's SANY Group has achieved a milestone by delivering a skid-mounted hydrogen production and refueling station to a client in Australia, marking their first green hydrogen project in the country. The station, shipped in late May and officially unveiled on May 29, has the capacity to produce hydrogen on-site through electrolysis at a rate of 200 Nm³/h. It is designed to dispense fuel for both 35 MPa for commercial trucks and 70 MPa for passenger cars, incorporating advanced compression and storage systems that allow for rapid refueling of heavy vehicles and cars simultaneously. To ensure compliance with Australian standards, SANY customized the design and obtained certifications for electrical safety and pressure vessels from Bureau Veritas and TÜV SÜD. This project not only leverages SANY's experience in operating one of China's largest hydrogen refueling stations but also highlights the company's commitment to expanding its expertise internationally. The successful deployment of this hydrogen station underscores SANY's increasing role in the global green energy infrastructure sector and showcases its ability to export cutting-edge hydrogen technologies beyond its domestic market.
