The Hybrid Hydro Floating Solar (HHFS) and Green Hydrogen Hub projects were recently launched in Terengganu, Malaysia, with the aim of attracting regional and international investors to the region. The utilization of floating solar technology at the dam demonstrates the area's potential for sustainable energy generation. Plans are underway to connect the projects to the Asean Power Grid, promoting regional energy integration. Moreover, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of providing technical education and upskilling programs for local youths in Kuala Berang to ensure they benefit from job opportunities in the green energy sector. The projects have the potential to boost economic development in Terengganu and enhance the region's attractiveness to investors.
