Quest One, a subsidiary of MAN Energy Solutions, and MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure have entered into a partnership to advance green hydrogen solutions in North America. The collaboration focuses on optimizing the construction of large-scale PEM electrolysis projects to reduce costs and risks in the green hydrogen value chain. Quest One's Modular Hydrogen Platform (MHP) is a scalable system designed for industrial production of green hydrogen, with modules that can be combined to create plants ranging from 10 to several hundred megawatts. The system is manufactured in the U.S. for the North American market. Both companies believe that their joint efforts will play a crucial role in enabling the scaling of green hydrogen projects. Quest One emphasizes proactive collaboration with EPC's to design electrolyzer plants for optimized constructability, while MasTec CE&I brings its expertise in renewable energy and infrastructure construction to the partnership. By enhancing their knowledge in electrolyzer plant construction, the companies aim to drive the future of green hydrogen by reducing costs, improving constructability, and expediting project timelines.
