Enapter AG has announced the launch of the Nexus 2500, a 2.5 MW multicore electrolyzer that marks a significant milestone in the company's product portfolio. The new electrolyzer is designed to cater to large-scale industrial green hydrogen production and is fully compatible with Enapter's existing multicore electrolyzers, providing customers with the flexibility to expand their systems. The Nexus 2500 is available in a 40-foot container or skid-mounted version for indoor installation, offering efficiency benefits especially for multi-megawatt projects. The electrolyzer can be utilized in various industries such as steel and ammonia production, vehicle refueling, and energy storage from solar and wind parks. With a capacity to produce over a ton of green hydrogen within 24 hours, the Nexus 2500 boasts 99.999% purity. Enapter's unique modular process enhances efficiency by allowing individual stacks to be adjusted independently, optimizing power usage from renewable sources. Moreover, the Nexus 2500 is controlled by Enapter's advanced AI software, which analyzes data from sensors to regulate temperature, pressure, and power consumption in real time.
