The Uzbekistan Green Hydrogen Project, a collaborative effort between ACWA Power, PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corporation, and LONGi Hydrogen, has successfully commenced hydrogen production on a significant scale. LONGi Hydrogen provided four high-efficiency alkaline electrolyzers along with integrated systems to support the project. These components were engineered and delivered in compliance with international standards, demonstrating China's electrolyzer technology globally. The electrolyzers underwent rigorous commissioning tests, proving stable operation and producing high-purity hydrogen and oxygen. The project's objective is to produce 3,000 tons of green hydrogen annually, supporting the production of 500,000 tons of low-carbon fertilizer and reducing CO₂ emissions by 30,000 tons per year. LONGi's advanced electrolyzer system enables reliable zero-carbon hydrogen supply and plays a vital role in this green energy transformation. Furthermore, this project marks several milestones for LONGi Hydrogen, including its first large-scale electrolyzer deployment in Central Asia and its technology's international application in a green ammonia project, demonstrating its global technological expertise in providing sustainable hydrogen solutions.
