Ballard Power Systems, a leading energy company, has secured a substantial order for 6.4 megawatts of fuel cell engines from eCap Marine GmbH. These engines will be integrated into two vessels operated by Samskip, a European logistics company, to assist in decarbonization efforts on routes between Norway and the Netherlands. The order includes 32 FCwave™-200 kW engines that will be incorporated into green marine propulsion systems.
