French company CMG CleanTech is gearing up to start construction on its highly anticipated Green Garden Village campus at the Poinciana SunRail Station site in Florida. The $500 million project will kick off with the establishment of a factory, data center, and office building serving as the U.S. headquarters for Panacea Global Energy. The campus will feature manufacturing facilities for clean energy products like solar-assisted heat pump water heaters. Despite recent policy changes, the company remains optimistic about the market demand for their products. The development will also include a carbon-neutral data center, a welcoming center, a soccer pitch with a British pub-style restaurant, and mixed-use buildings with a wellness center and residential units. In collaboration with Osceola County, the project aims to generate 1,200 jobs and meet environmental standards. The approach involves splitting the project into two phases, with the second phase focused on industrial buildings for producing solar film products, hydrogen fuel cells, and more. The expansion site for phase 2 will include floodplain mitigation and additional industrial facilities.
