hylane GmbH, a key player in sustainable commercial vehicle mobility, received three new IVECO S-eWay Fuel Cell tractor units, expanding its H2 rental fleet to approximately 100 vehicles. The handover took place at the IVECO Experience Center in Ulm. These IVECO vehicles are part of a small series produced in Ulm, showcasing the practicality and scalability of hydrogen-powered long-distance transport within the H2Haul project. The partnership aims to demonstrate hydrogen-powered trucks as a reliable and locally emission-free solution for European transport. The IVECO S-eWay Fuel Cell tractor units have a range of 800 kilometers, can be refueled in less than 20 minutes, and boast a total output of over 200 kW. These vehicles are equipped with hydrogen tanks holding up to 70 kilograms at 700 bar pressure. The partnership also includes service cooperation, allowing hylane customers to access maintenance at selected IVECO workshops.
