The Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT), launched in 1985, has become a prominent platform for automotive technology advancements globally. Hosted by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), SIAT 2026 is set to take place in Pune from January 28-30 with the theme 'Innovative Pathways for Safe and Sustainable Mobility.' The event will focus on various cutting-edge technologies such as e-mobility, hydrogen fuel cells, ADAS, and alternative fuels. With a history of attracting top industry professionals and researchers, SIAT has been instrumental in showcasing India's innovation potential. The 2024 edition saw significant participation and featured dedicated pavilions for hydrogen technologies, emphasizing India's commitment to sustainable solutions. SIAT 2026 has already garnered substantial academic interest with over 2,000 research abstracts submitted, promising a robust exchange of ideas. The event will include technical sessions on emerging domains like noise and vibration control, simulation, and emission technologies. Furthermore, a concurrent SIAT Expo 2026 will offer a platform for automotive players to exhibit their latest products and services, highlighting global innovations.
