YEG, located in Edmonton, Alberta, a major hydrogen production region, is expanding its airport-based hydrogen hub to facilitate the practical demonstration and deployment of hydrogen technologies. By joining H2CanFly, YEG will contribute its technical expertise, resources, and assets to support the future use of hydrogen-powered aircraft and infrastructure development. The H2CanFly consortium, a pan-Canadian initiative, focuses on accelerating hydrogen and electrification technologies in aviation through collaborative research, infrastructure development, and essential certification pathways.
