Additionally, Viking is making strides in sustainability by introducing hydrogen-powered ships. Viking Libra, set to join in late 2026, and Viking Astrea, scheduled for 2027, aim to operate with zero emissions. The company plans significant fleet expansion by 2031, including 27 river ships and 10 ocean ships by 2028, totaling 111 river ships and 23 ocean and expedition ships by 2031, highlighting their growth and commitment to environmentally friendly practices.
