CaetanoBus, based in Portugal, has introduced its latest line of zero-emission buses, including the e.CityGold and H2.CityGold models in various lengths. These buses are designed to prioritize zero-emission operation, passenger comfort, and driver experience. The new generation buses, ranging from 8.5m to 18m, will utilize components and technology from CRRC, CATL LFP BC5 battery systems, and Toyota Fuel Cell Stack Generation 2.5 for the hydrogen-powered versions. With battery capacities of up to 700kWh for the 18m bus, the models aim to cater to different urban route requirements. The innovative design also includes a Bus Rapid Transit version for the 18m model, enhancing high-capacity urban transportation.
