The Urban Community of Dunkirk and Grand Annecy Agglomeration in France have placed orders for new Heuliez hydrogen buses from Iveco. Dunkirk will be receiving 10 buses while Grand Annecy will acquire three, to complement their existing electric bus fleets. The deliveries of these hydrogen buses are expected to occur between 2025 and 2026. Giorgio Zino, Head of Iveco Bus Europe Commercial Operations, expressed pride in the renewal of trust from these communities in adopting their hydrogen buses. The buses feature a 100kW Hyundai fuel cell and a 69kWh FPT Industrial battery pack, providing greater efficiency with hydrogen consumption being 15 to 20% lower compared to other models. Iveco Bus highlights the optimized thermal comfort and long lifespan of key components like the battery and fuel cell, as well as a capacity of up to 110 passengers.
