In Leh, India, NTPC Limited made history by delivering five hydrogen fuel cell buses to the State Industrial Development Corporation in Ladakh. This marks India's first commercial deployment of hydrogen-powered buses, setting a significant global milestone in green mobility at the highest altitude in the world. The event, held at the NTPC Green Hydrogen Mobility Station in Palam, Leh, was attended by key officials including Bhupesh Chaudhary, who praised NTPC's innovative endeavor under challenging conditions in Ladakh.
