PowerCell Group has announced an intensified strategic partnership with Robert Bosch GmbH to expedite the implementation of hydrogen fuel cell systems in China. The collaboration, which builds upon an existing relationship, is primarily targeted at high-growth mobility and industrial markets. A key aspect of the partnership involves Bosch acquiring additional intellectual property rights to PowerCell's S3 fuel cell stack. This stack, previously produced in Germany, is now being delivered to PowerCell's facility in Gothenburg. The €6 million deal enables Bosch to further customize the technology for the Chinese automotive sector, reflecting the rising demand for high-performance hydrogen solutions in the region. Beyond automotive applications, the partnership also explores opportunities in construction machinery, industrial mobility, and backup power sectors. Both companies are optimistic about the potential for growth and innovation in these areas.
