Uniper, Provaris, and Norwegian Hydrogen have entered into a partnership to facilitate the supply of green hydrogen from the Nordic countries to Germany. The collaboration involves the use of Provaris' proprietary compressed hydrogen H2Neo carriers for transportation and storage. The companies will explore the potential for Uniper to off-take RFNBO1 compliant hydrogen, which will be produced by Norwegian Hydrogen. Additionally, Provaris and Norwegian Hydrogen have extended their partnership to accelerate the development of new hydrogen export sites across the Nordic region. These export projects will be strategically located in areas with strong grid connections and reliable power supplies to ensure efficient production and transportation of hydrogen. By leveraging Provaris' H2Neo carriers, the initiative aims to provide cost-competitive gaseous hydrogen supply to Europe. The successful pre-development activities of the FjordH2 project in Norway serve as a foundation for these new projects, which highlight a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and energy partnerships in Europe.
