Dover India and RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru have announced a strategic partnership to establish a state-of-the-art laboratory in Materials and Component Reliability Testing under the Centre for Hydrogen and Green Technology. The collaboration aims to accelerate research in hydrogen systems and other emerging areas such as sustainable materials, IoT, and Industry 4.0. The laboratory, to be based at RV College of Engineering, will house cutting-edge infrastructure developed jointly by researchers from Dover India and RVCE. This initiative is set to become a hub for advanced research in hydrogen technologies and material reliability under extreme environments. The memorandum of understanding for this collaboration was signed by senior leadership from both institutions, emphasizing their commitment to fuel the next wave of clean energy innovation and drive India's leadership in the global hydrogen economy. This industry-academia partnership will provide over 20 technologists with facilities to conduct research on hydrogen generation, storage, transportation, handling and safety, and end applications. Furthermore, it will serve as a training ground for RVCE students to enhance their skills in clean energy technology.
