Odisha's potential to lead India's green hydrogen transition was highlighted, considering its coastal advantages and industrial base. Challenges like water availability are being addressed to make Odisha a hub for green hydrogen exports. The government aims to attract investment in green hydrogen production, focusing on timely execution. Progress in rooftop solar installations under PMSG: MBY was also reviewed, with directions to expedite efforts. Initiatives like Utility-Led Aggregation are being adopted to promote solar panel installation on low-income households. The State Nodal Agency was instructed to implement Feeder Level Solarization to bring clean energy benefits to the agricultural sector.
