During a two-day visit to Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for massive infrastructure, energy, and urban development projects in Dahod, Bhuj, and Gandhinagar. The projects, valued at over ₹77,000 crore, showcased India's push for self-reliance and clean energy. In Dahod, a state-of-the-art railway manufacturing plant was unveiled, along with the inauguration of major rail connectivity upgrades. Bhuj saw the launch of projects worth ₹53,400 crore, including a green hydrogen plant, port infrastructure enhancements, and advancements in agriculture and tourism. PM Modi also inaugurated urban development projects in Gandhinagar, emphasizing citizen participation in building a developed India by 2047. He highlighted Gujarat's economic growth, Kutch's transformation into a trade hub, progress in green energy initiatives, and preparations for hosting the 2036 Olympics. The Prime Minister called for a shift towards local goods to enhance national security and emphasized the importance of citizen engagement in achieving a prosperous and secure future for India.
