Thermax, a provider of energy and environment solutions, has inaugurated a pilot facility in Pune dedicated to the development of Solid Oxide Electrolyser Cell (SOEC) technology for green hydrogen production. Over the next 11 months, Thermax will collaborate with UK-based CERES to develop a pressurized SOEC system aimed at reducing the Levelised Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH). The company's green hydrogen strategy focuses on designing a modular, high-efficiency solution. The pilot facility inauguration ceremony was attended by the core team leading Thermax's green hydrogen innovations. Besides the SOEC facility, Thermax boasts a robust manufacturing network with ten plants in India and a total of fourteen globally, supporting sustainable energy and industrial applications.
