Adani Group has inaugurated India's first off-grid 5 megawatt green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch, Gujarat, marking a significant step in the country's renewable energy sector. The facility, powered entirely by solar energy and integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System, operates independently from the main electrical grid. This milestone aligns with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission and showcases the technical feasibility of renewable-powered industrial applications for hydrogen production. Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) is spearheading the development of large-scale green hydrogen production facilities and derivative products like green ammonia and methanol, contributing to India's low-carbon future.
