French renewable hydrogen producer Lhyfe has made significant strides in industrial decarbonization by successfully implementing green hydrogen in high-temperature manufacturing processes at ceramic plants in Spain's Valencia region. Through a three-week trial, Lhyfe demonstrated the technical and operational feasibility of using green hydrogen to fuel industrial burners, achieving temperatures as high as 1550°C with minimal modifications. The hydrogen, produced at Lhyfe's facility in France and transported using a large container fleet, showcases the company's capability to supply large-scale industrial operations across Europe. Lhyfe's proprietary mixing kit allows for a gradual transition to hydrogen integration, addressing the emissions reduction needs of energy-intensive sectors while ensuring competitiveness.
