The World Hydrogen Summit 2025 in Rotterdam saw the participation of a significant Chilean delegation comprising more than 60 companies and organizations from the public and private sector, all focused on global solutions for the production of green hydrogen (H2V). Led by key figures like the Minister of Energy, Diego Pardow, and the Commercial Director of ProChile, Osvaldo Marinao, the delegation aimed to showcase Chile's potential in green hydrogen exports and strengthen its global position in the industry. The presence of representatives from prominent entities like AES Corporation, Colbún, and Gasmar, alongside associations like H2 Chile and H2 Magallanes, highlighted Chile's commitment to sustainable energy practices. The delegation participated in exhibitions, seminars on business opportunities, and visited key locations like the Port of Rotterdam, fostering collaborations and partnerships for the development of green hydrogen projects. The Minister of Energy emphasized the importance of such global meetings in promoting economic development and job creation through green hydrogen initiatives, especially in regions where projects will be implemented. Additionally, the Commercial Director of ProChile highlighted the compatibility between Chile's green hydrogen potential and the Netherlands' infrastructure for distribution and storage, paving the way for mutually beneficial business ties. The delegation's efforts reflect Chile's dedication to a decarbonized economy and its role as a reliable partner for Europe in the green hydrogen value chain, positioning the country as a key player in the global energy transition.
