Hynamics UK, a part of France's EDF Group, and Hy24 have teamed up to work on the Fawley Green Hydrogen Project in Hampshire, England. The project aims to aid in the decarbonization of ExxonMobil's Fawley refining and petrochemical complex by replacing heavy fuel oil and gray hydrogen with low-carbon hydrogen. This collaboration was solidified through a memorandum of understanding during the UK-France Summit. The initiative involves the construction of a 120-megawatt electrolyzer, with the goal of slashing the Fawley complex's carbon dioxide emissions by 100,000 metric tons annually.
