Sterlite Technologies Ltd. (STL) has surged over 4% after announcing its partnership with Hygenco to establish Maharashtra's first green hydrogen production facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The project will supply green hydrogen and oxygen to Sterlite Tech's glass preform facility, with the aim of becoming one of the world's first optical fibre manufacturers to use 100% green hydrogen in its production processes. This move supports Sterlite Tech's goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
