This collaboration has led to the unveiling of the Hyundai HTWO Innovation Centre at IIT Madras's satellite campus near Chennai, signaling a commitment to advancing green hydrogen technology. HMIL's substantial ₹100 crore investment in green hydrogen innovation, partially facilitated by the Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) under CSR initiatives, underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in fostering sustainable solutions.
