Honda is set to introduce its latest hydrogen fuel cell module in North America at the ACT Expo, emphasizing its readiness to support decarbonization with zero-emission solutions for various applications, including commercial trucking and stationary power generation. The unveiling also includes a Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell truck concept, a collaboration between Honda and GM, featuring three fuel cell modules, a top speed of 70 mph, and a driving range exceeding 500 miles at GCW, utilizing a 120 kWh high voltage battery. The upcoming hydrogen fuel cell module, slated for production in 2027, aims to significantly reduce costs, enhance durability, and improve power density compared to current models.
