South Korean defense giant Hyundai Rotem has officially registered the design of its next-generation main battle tank, the K3, with the Korean Intellectual Property Office, showcasing a milestone in armored warfare evolution. The K3, also known as the Next-Generation Main Battle Tank [NG-MBT], is set to replace the K2 Black Panther and introduces groundbreaking features like a hydrogen-powered system and advanced stealth capabilities to adapt to 21st-century battlefields' challenges. Developed in collaboration with South Korean defense entities, the K3 prioritizes survivability, mobility, and firepower to counter asymmetric threats effectively.
