SIAD Macchine Impianti (SIAD MI) has been contracted to supply an oil-free high-pressure hydrogen compressor for Italy's Falconara Hydrogen Project in Ancona. The project is led by Opificio Idrogeno Marche, a company formed by Renco SpA and the Pollarini Group, with the goal of creating a 'Hydrogen Valley' at the former Montedison plant. This initiative is part of efforts to establish three Hydrogen Valleys in Falconara Marittima, repurposing decommissioned industrial areas for green hydrogen production from renewable sources. The project, scheduled for completion in 2026, is a key component of the region's commitment to sustainable energy and economic growth. By producing 200 tons of hydrogen annually for public transport vehicles, the project aligns with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan's objectives for a cleaner and more resilient future.
