Utility Global, a leading company in economic clean hydrogen production, has partnered with Hanwha Corporation to conduct a Pre-FEED study for deploying the H2Gen® system at wastewater treatment plants in South Korea. The collaboration aims to assess the feasibility of building a hydrogen production plant utilizing biogas from South Korean wastewater facilities. This hydrogen will be used in the country's hydrogen-powered mobility sector and other clean energy applications. The CEOs of both companies expressed satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting its importance in the global expansion of the H2Gen system and supporting the production of clean hydrogen economically and sustainably. The Pre-FEED study will provide crucial data for a basic design package, aiding Hanwha in making informed decisions about adopting the H2Gen system for hydrogen production using biogas.
